You fly the drone. We report the findings.

Stockpile Volumetrics

Measured volumes per pile with surface model imagery — monthly stock reconciliation for quarries, aggregates yards, waste sites and silage clamps, tracked over time.

RECURRING

What we check for

  • Measured volume per pile, from a processed surface model
  • Pile-by-pile change since the last flight
  • Surface model accuracy and any obscured/inaccessible areas flagged
  • Site layout and pile identification consistent flight to flight
  • A clear written summary alongside the volume figures

An example of what you get back

Every finding in every report follows the same structure — location, frame reference, affected area, confidence, probable cause and recommended action, rated Red / Amber / Green. Here's a worked (illustrative) example from this survey type.

Finding 1: Pile B — Volume Change Since Last Flight

LocationPile B, yard grid reference C4
Frame referenceSurface model, this flight vs previous
Estimated affected areaMeasured volume: 610 m³ (+140 m³ since last flight)
ConfidenceHigh
Severity rating (RAG)GREEN

Observation: Pile B has increased by approximately 140 m³ since the previous monthly flight, consistent with recorded intake for the period.

Probable cause: N/A — reconciliation finding, not a defect.

Recommended action: No action required; figure provided for stock reconciliation records.

How the RAG rating works

Every finding on every survey type is rated against the same published definitions, so a Red on one job means the same thing as a Red on the next.

● RedA live risk of water ingress, structural risk, or a safety hazard — flagged for prompt action.
● AmberLikely to progress to failure if left unaddressed, but not currently causing a problem.
● GreenCosmetic or early-stage — worth recording, not urgent.
