Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy explains how we handle personal data in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and we'd recommend a solicitor reviews it before relying on it for compliance purposes.

Who we are

SkyReports is a trading name of Project 98 Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17297860), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Project 98 Ltd.

We are the data controller for the personal data described below. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@skyreports.co.uk.

What we collect

We collect personal data in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us:

• Enquiry form: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name, site address, and any notes you choose to share, when you submit the "Start a job" form.
• Job delivery: if you go on to book a survey report, we collect the imagery you upload (drone photos/video and any associated flight metadata such as GPS location and timestamps), site details, and billing information needed to invoice and deliver the report.
• Payment: when you pay for a job, payment is handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your card details — Stripe processes and stores that information under its own privacy policy.
• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes.

How we use it

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide quotes
• Deliver the survey report service you've paid for, including analysing uploaded imagery and producing your white-labelled report
• Process payment and maintain accounting records
• Communicate with you about an active or prospective job
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including tax and accounting requirements

Our legal basis for this processing is either that it's necessary to perform a contract with you (or take steps toward one at your request), or our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, balanced against your rights.

Imagery you upload

Drone imagery you upload for a survey may incidentally contain personal data — for example, people, vehicles, or identifiable property visible in the frame. We process this imagery solely to produce your report. We don't use client imagery for marketing or any other purpose without your separate permission, and we don't share it with anyone outside the people working on your report.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of third-party services to run SkyReports. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

• Web3Forms — processes enquiry form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
• Stripe — processes payments. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor; we never see your full card details.
• Cloudflare — hosts our website and, where used, stores uploaded imagery securely (via Cloudflare R2) until your report is complete.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with anyone else except where required by law.

International transfers

Some of the providers above may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, they do so under their own appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). You can check each provider's own privacy policy for details of how they handle international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details and job records for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet our accounting obligations (typically at least six years for financial records, as required by UK law). Uploaded survey imagery is kept for as long as reasonably needed to deliver your report and handle any amendment rounds, after which we delete it unless you ask us to retain it for longer or we're legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Request your data in a portable format

Cookies

Our website currently uses only the essential cookies/local storage needed for the site to function (such as remembering your pricing calculator selections during a visit). We don't currently run analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and add a cookie consent banner where required.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
